I think it's just the nature of communicating electronically. I doubt if we were all sitting in the same room together at the same table there would be anywhere near the level of mudslinging that we see over the internet. I once knew a fellow that was the nicest guy in the world in person but the moment he got behind his computer he turned into an insulting bastard.
