RESPECTABLE help

Ok, just listened to a cd a friend burned me called Paris Outtakes Vol 1/2.
On Vol. 1 there is a version of Respectable that I have never heard. It starts out w/ the opening guitars then Mick says: 1 2 3 4 @#$%& etc. etc. Can anyone tell me what version this is (e.i. #1 #2 etc.) The length of this version is 3:52. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I looked for a link to the version you're talking about and found zero. Guess no one found it fit to put on the interwebbings!

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

Someone should really take the wonderful wealth of www.nzentgraf.de information and cross reference it with the available common bootlegs, to show what is available where in a semi-organized fashion.

NOT ME, I don't have the time! But this would be huge and rewarding project. I often find myself looking for little things in the cracks, like this or that version of "Respectable" or different "Brown Sugars" or the slightly different alternate mixes of various things....all the studio outtakes bootlegs gotta come from somewhere!

You mean like a copy and paste of, say, the 1977/78 SOME GIRLS sessions, and then after each song, where possible, a youtube link so one can hear it? That would be cool.

BTW, "You're a rag trade girl, you're the queen of porn, you're the easiest lay on the White House lawn" was a dig at Jagger's ex-wife, Bianca, who had been doing interviews for Andy Warhol's "Interview" magazine, including an interview at the White House with Jack Ford, President Ford's son.

Huh...I always thought that, but never knew why he'd include that White House lawn part.

Fantastic! I hadn't heard that one confused smiley The energy here is unbelievable. So spontaneous and live. They kept those guitar tracks for the studio version, and Mick is giving directions along the way - Love it! thumbs up

Re: RESPECTABLE help

They should have made a SG Deluxe double album with these long versions. Absolutely brilliant. They never rocked harder thumbs up

They declined to put songs already known for too many years.

This version was known for more than 20 years.
