Make a difference now!

What if everybody on this forum decided to put on "Dirty Work" on repeat as loud as possible and open all windows and doors sing along. Could we change the world?
Do it now!

Can I make a difference later? I'm kind of busy right now.

Can't we put one Exile instead? Or GHS or BB or SF or LIB or Aftermath or . . . ?

You can put on GHS but the others have to play dirty work. If they don't have Dirty Work, an excellent album from 1986 they can play what want, just as it Stones.
Comprendre Amigos!

Hear it is. Sing loud!

Let somebody do the dirty work
Find some loser, find some jerk
Find some greaseball, yeah

It's beginning to make me angry
I'm beginning to hate it
You're a user, you're a user
I'm gonna shake you

Let somebody do the dirty work
I never see no grease on you baby
Never roll your sleeves up, do you, never baby
Let somebody do the dirty work
Find some @#$%&, find some jerk
Do it all, do it all for free

While you're out having all the fun
They'll take the blame when the trouble comes
Let somebody do it, do it

It's beginning to make me angry
I'm beginning to hate you
You're a user, I hate you
When you push you make me crazy

Let somebody do it all for free
Let somebody do the dirty work
Let somebody do it all for free
Let somebody do the dirty work
Let somebody do the dirty work
Pushing it harder, pushing it harder

I do to. It was Steve Lillywhites signature sound and for those delay effect on the drums he got millions. I can't understand why the Stones hired him. He has nothing to do with Rock and Roll.

No in NYC. We did guitars too... I also assisted on Dancing in The Streets and JJF by Aretha Franklin produced by Keith. They were always super nice but it is true they'd double team us with Keith going all night and Mick showing up before noon. Once Mick woke me on a studio couch and I was so tired I cried when I saw him. He started singing to me and I felt better. My friend recorded their demos downtown at the time, he said Keith and Mick would play all the instruments including drums and keys and it still sounded like the Stones. Without question they worked very hard on their recordings and we were not allowed to touch a knob without explaining first, When I'd think about what they'd seen and accomplished in the studio it was overwhelming that they were always so patient. I never saw the whole band set up and play behind the glass, I could only imagine how much fun that would be. I also remember a song with crazy sampled Tibetan drums they put on Steel Wheels I think, the tapes were a mess.

That's all I remember, except we'd give the empty whisky bottles to our girl friends after we drank the dregs, no other rock stars I've known were as nice and I met everyone alive in the 80's except the living Beatles. Jimmy Page was by far the nicest of the three great Yardbirds and Nicky Hopkins was super accommodating and a gentleman. Now I'm just a fan, when I saw the Stones in Brooklyn it was bigger than life as it was for everyone else here.
