Can you imagine a New Barbarians reunion? THAT would be a hit! Ronnie, Mac and Bobby would go for it in a split of a second , for sure.
DonĀ“t know about Ziggy Modeliste and how about Stanley Clarke? Is he still alive?
Bring in some help with the vocals and hit the road....

It would be great, Stanley Clarke's still alive and playing, he released a record this year.

You never know. Woody is hot nowadays, ready for anything, an probably in need of cash.

Are all of them clean & sober now? I mean Ian McLagan, Bobby Keys, Ronnie & Keith.

They all seem to be quite stabilized but it is a dangerous cocktail indeed innit?

Yeah, that seems a bit uncalled for. I have a feeling that may be a person who never got to see The New Barbarians live!

Yes, some great music could be made, but also I can't imagine them sitting around in the hotels drinking water.

In all seriousness, that would be awesome!

Perhaps a mix of original barbarians and new...

US Tour (ok Europe too) with as the core band:

Ronnie Wood
Waddy Wactchel
Wille Weeks
Ian McLagan
Andy Newmark
Bobby Keys

With Keef guesting for Sure The One You Need and maybe BTMMR on select dates. (he just aint up for a full tour playing at this point IMO) Also Rod Stewart guesting on select dates for If Ya Gotta Make A Fool Of Somebody and I Can Feel The Fire. Oh, and let's have Kenny Jones sit in on a couple of Rod/Faces numbers.

That's a Fin' tour! Tell me that can't sell out theaters around the globe!

Only problem is Keith doesn't seem much interested in playing these days. Maybe Woody can replace him with Mick Taylor. That would be great irony wouldn't it?>grinning smiley<

No reunion by the New Barbarians would be complete without Mackenzie Phillips.

>> Perhaps a mix of original barbarians and new ... <<

... the line-up that included Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark was very fine, but it wasn't "the original barbarians".
that line-up didn't have a band name. Wooden Records made up a retronym when they named the Kilburn release "the first barbarians" -
and the topic at hand in this thread is a New Barbarians reunion, innit?! accept no substitutes :E

Whatever happened to the January 2011 Faces tour that was supposedly a done deal last summer?
