I bought a book today...The Rolling Stones, edited by David Dalton..in it is a photo of Mick and Keith with a guy who has a map of Vietnam on his t-shirt, underneath are the words..."When I die I'll go to Heaven because I've spent my time in hell".......I know everyone picks up stuff around them to weave into their own creativety....I guess that one made a big impression on Keith because the book was published in 1972, 6 years before Before they make me run.....

They were all very appalled by what went on in Vietnam and saw the impact it had on the - in particular - younger generation inthe Western World. (And what it did to civilians in Vietnam and neighbouring countries!)
Have you read the book LIFE, by Keith Richards?
I'm asking, because he writes about this in his book...
