He's a marvelous singer and writer. He's evolved from just MOFRO to JJ Gey and Mofro and is now more, or less, a virtual solo artist. Don't miss him live.

Yeah, I saw 'em this spring (Lukester was there, too). I love the band. JJ's songwriting is excellent.

My computer here at the office is making this difficult so I hope this works!

Had a student turn me on to these guys (this guy?) over the weekend. Really digging the new album as well as going back through YouTube to find other stuff.

Should have know that SwayStones would have already found them and posted here! Gonna have to go back and see who else she's recommended that I've been missing out on!

Following is the lead track from the new album "Georgia Workhorse". Track is called: "Diyo Dayo".

Quite surprising tune BTW.
It doesn't fit with what I used to hear from JJ Grey .
