So negative around here lately. Boo hoo The Stones let me down. Poor me. Forty + years just isn't enough. Anyway, changing the subject, I have only seen a handful of pictures of Mick with full beard. Does anyone have pics of Mick with full beard ? Rockman ? Also does anyone have a copy of interview with Don Kirshner (i think that was his name) on Rock Show. I think it was called Rock Show sometime around 79 or 80. Mick and Keith are interviewed I believe. Very relaxed from what I hear. Any pics of Keith with a beard anywhere ?

Well I tried to be positive last night..posted large parts of a Mick Jagger (he just losted his beard)1980 interview...so thre is a good sign for you...and hell yeh!!Rock have to be the dj of Tell me!!Dont forget this situation is scary..we dont know nothing!! It;'s funny I have often wondred if there are shots of Keith with beard. The closest I have come are some of the Sticky Fingers era/70/71 tour era when Keith would show up all dilapidated and unshaven. I used to have this great shot of Jagger and Keith singing at the mike from 71 that I had in the German magazine Popfoto. Jagger was al sneeering in that small vest with his ass shaking, while Keith was singing too. before his teeth got fixed. And before he ahd shaved that week. Plus he had filthy fingers and fingernails. He was just a MESS, LOL. Too cool.

Yeah, it's quite weird thinking that during the '70s, no matter how stoned on drugs he could be, he always found time to shave.
He may have a 5pm shade but never, not even in the extensive reportage on the Nellcote days that is Exile, the book, did he ever look unshaven.
I don't shave everyday because it's boring and I'm completely drug free, wonder what force drove Keith to always shave, no matter what.
Maybe it was his upbringing, or he doesn't really grow a beard, I have friends like that.

It's hard to believe that skinny little Mick can grow such a full "mountain man" beard. I've never been able to grow a good one. Looking at Mick you wouldn't think he could. Chris Robinson too. Lucky bastards.

I've always marvelled how nearly-unrecognizable Mick is with a heavy beard. He looks kind of like Jim Morrison in Morrison's beard phase.

I read in a book where Mick liked the anonymity a beard gave him - he could walk around and no one would recognize him. Which was great until he tried to get into a club but they refused him entrance because they didn't believe he was Mick Jagger. He shaved the next day!
