OK, have successfully upgraded to a 'Photobucket Pro' account, so the links work again and the pics are there. And er yes ......... I had a quick look on that Dutch site, and those are indeed my images.

Thanks to everyone by the way who's getting upset about the fact that there are people out there who are prepared to "lift" pictures and post them elsewhere without so much as a teensy acknowledgement to the fact that someone else actually took the bloody things, I do appreciate the support.

I personally just enjoy being there, taking the damm things, enjoying them, and then SHARING them, but I do nevertheless get mildy annoyed when such a BLATANT theft (which is effectively what it amounts to) takes place. It's just rude and deceitful ... if nothing else.

Cheers to yas all

Thanks for the fab photos to you and The Worst and everyone else who contributed!
About that Dutch site - I'm NOT at all surprised they stole your photos without giving you credit. They did that to me once, too. And despite several mails, where I told them to remove my photo from their site - they simply ignored it.
Rude, dishonest and shameless. Quite a combination.

Yes yes, the Dutchies, you'll find the Stones office around my corner. cool smiley

This credit issue has already been solved by that poster, as you could have read here. No need to keep on pissing on that lovely Dutch Stonesforum because of some personal quarrel. But well, if you feel the need to ...

It was a great night; fabulous to hang out with the IORR crew on my Birthday.
Stephen Dale Petit is an awesome player whom I had never heard of before.
I did think he kinda hijacked the event for his own promotional aggrandisement, having like two or three video guys on him most of the night and selling his merch from the table, but I can forgive him coz of his brilliant playing. Ronnie was in good spirits and as I noted to a fellow IORR afterwards was caressing his nose in a disturbing way far too often. Really enjoyed seeing Mick T playing after watching him on "Ladies and Gentlemen," playing deliciously on Dead Flowers and Love in Vain, earlier in the afternoon.
Mick did seem a bit lost in the flow of things quite often, but hats off to him for stepping out.

Cheers,
SonicD

I normally dislike more than two guitarists on stage, but this would be something very special, and the styles of three of them are so distinct that there would be ample room in the music to accomodate it. Please guys, do it for us!"

I wouldn't be surprised he had it with the Stones.
Jagger is up to date and awake when it comes to contemporary art/music.
Looking at the 100 club,well..the last hope has gone by now.

<<< Looking at the 100 club, well .. the last hope has gone by now >>>

Do you say that solely because you're 'disenchanted' with the performance on 1st December (based on a couple of youtube clips seemingly), or because you happen to know that the venue has not succeeded in raising the cash or finding a sponsor ? I'm just curious.

<<< I wouldn't be surprised he had it with the Stones >>>

What makes you think this ? You honestly think because he exhibits a slightly different personal taste to that of his bandmates, or perhaps has interest in some facets of life that they don't have ... this is an indicator of his intent to abandon the Stones and lay it all to rest ? Wow ... some conclusion !!

Just my opinion:

Concerning the 100club, this company is not going to save it I'am afraid.
I no nothing about the cash they made. Keith...auch.,he wasn't even there, what a blunder.Hope it's enough

Jagger is up to date and awake when it comes to contemporary art/music.

So why is his solo music such utter bollocks then? Jagger is the weak link in the Stones writing team...Keith and Ronnie's respective albums have proved that.

Ain't it funny that we all post on this board because we love The Stones, and still there is
so much difference in our appreciation of the music. From what I see in those clips, I get
very much enthusiasm. Here's a bunch of guys playing from their hearts and bringing much
joy to the people who are present. It's music, straight from the heart. Not too much rehearsals
before the show (that's clear) but the result is just plain fun to see and hear.

I can only dream of The Stones going back to their roots like this.

Imo without Jagger the Stones were burried 30 years ago.
And Jaggers solowork and Taylor's '79 make more sense to me than Keith's let alone Ron's.

Well in all fairness, I can only judge you by WHAT YOU WRITE ... if you don't wish to be thought of or referred to in a certain light, then perhaps don't post some of your more morose thoughts or comments. I'm all for freedom of speech n' all that, but you really do open yourself up for it. By any standards, some of your comments are extremely negative indeed, so much so that people are given to wondering what the hell you even bother to post for. If you've got that much of a downer on the Stones in their current form, and in your mind they are 'has beens' to such an extent, then take your leave of them .... and that would include taking your leave of this board too. Your comments otherwise are just unecessarily inflammatory.
