Can anyone figure out what´s filed under "Bonus Material" on the backcover of the Stones In Exile DVD ?
Not sure about whether this package shot will be the released one,couldn´t find anything else yet.

Surprisingly the TV version wasn´t shown on a german TV station so I´m very curious about this
...just got the 10 minutes trailer of the Exile DVD.

Especially the Stargroves and Olympic feature seems promising.

Well, that means that there likely won't be any rare footage from CS Blues. Bummer. "Exile fans" I guess refers to those lame interviews with contemporary musicians who say they were influenced by the record but who, in some cases, know very little about it. This whole Exile re-release has been such BS. Between the record and the DVD there is almost nothing of interest to the die-hard circa 1972 Stones fan of which I am one. This is one big con job by the Stones and Universal.

I'll withhold any judgement til I've seen the film. But yeah, we're not getting truckloads of material...

Ah. So the documentary itself is still one hour, but the bonus material is what gives us the extra run time.

yeah, it doesn't sound like much. How disappointing.

How come they didn't use more of those C. Blues outtakes?
Can't believe they hold it back for an official release.

And I'm wondering too that that the Exile film wasn't shown in Germany. In former times all Stones stuff was shown on TV over here.

The irony is that the best,in fact pretty much the only great rare footage was that 5 mins of film of them walking round LA shooting for the cover released a few months ago.It promised much for the film but ultimately that was as good as it got,despite it being a very enjoyable watch.Tantalising glimpses of live footage that i imagine wont be on the DVD either only add to that frustration really.

Yes, it is very frustrating. They had 20 hours of film from CS Blues and they ended up using maybe 10 minutes !
