"BEGGARS BANQUET" Deluxe Edition CD Box (What if...)

Hi all!
I often compile my own "Best of" etc. CDs.
This is my version of a possible 4-CD box of "Beggars Banquet), taken only from what´s available (officially and unofficially).
It could of course include some more slightly different mixes - I chose the ones that I listen to the most.
I didn´t include any versions of Memo From Turner, as they were apparently recorded after the "Beggars Banquet" sessions.

CD 1 The complete original 1968 mono releases

7” 5/68:
1. JUMPIN´ JACK FLASH
2. CHILD OF THE MOON
7” 8/68:
3. STREET FIGHTING MAN (original version/mix)
4. NO EXPECTATIONS
LP 12/68:
5. SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL
6. NO EXPECTATIONS (same as 4)
7. DEAR DOCTOR
8. PARACHUTE WOMAN
9. JIG-SAW PUZZLE
10. STREET FIGHTING MAN (re-mix w/different vocals)
11. PRODIGAL SON
12. STRAY CAT BLUES
13. FACTORY GIRL
14. SALT OF THE EARTH

CD 2 The original stereo mixes

1. JUMPIN´ JACK FLASH
2. CHILD OF THE MOON

3. SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL
4. NO EXPECTATIONS
5. DEAR DOCTOR
6. PARACHUTE WOMAN
7. JIG-SAW PUZZLE
8. STREET FIGHTING MAN
9. PRODIGAL SON
10. STRAY CAT BLUES
11. FACORY GIRL
12. SALT OF THE EARTH

(The 7”-version of Street Fighting Man is not available in stereo)

CD3 Outtakes, demos, alternates

1. PAY YOUR DUES (unreleased 7”, redone as Street Fighting Man)
2. JUMPIN´ JACK FLASH (“live in the studio” promo video version)
3. FAMILY (“Metamorphosis”)
4. BLOOD RED WINE
5. STUCK OUT ALL ALONE (GIVE ME A HAMBURGER TO GO)
6. HIGHWAY CHILD
7. STILL A FOOL
8. FAMILY (electric)
9. FAMILY (acoustic)
10. DEAR DOCTOR (take 1)
11. NO EXPECTATIONS (basic take w/different bass, alt mix)
12. STRAY CAT BLUES (alt mix w/extra vocals/lyrics)
13. JIG-SAW PUZZLE (instrumental take, Jagger goes into “Boppin´ At The High School…” at the end)

CD 4 The development of “Sympathy For The Devil” (the best of the movie takes, as separate tracks)

What do you think?

Well, I was thinking more like an official Legacy Deluxe Edition; although I only chose from what´s available to us - otherwise we could dream endlessly...
(Which we probably do anyway!)

I´d really love to hear a stereo mix of the original 7"-version of Street Fighting Man!!

Would this come in blue ray?

rootsman, I think it would be a very good comprehensive collection. I like the way you have it sequenced-it reminds me of the way it would be if Purple Chick had attempted a Stones collection! Alot of their Beatles albums are set up like this-I would certainly want to d/l or trade(?) for a copy if you decide to attempt it. Any ideas on artwork and/or track info design?

isn't most of the mono versions of beggars stereo folddowns? i read once that sympathy for the devil was the only true mono mix because when it's folded down from stereo mix the piano is mute.

Thanks!
I´m not planning to do an actual box with cover/artwork...
It´s more the compiling that fascinates me

I had read that too but I honestly think its mistaken.(I mean as far as the full album being a fold down)
