JUMPSUITS !!!

MICK did it hot smiley

ELVIS did it hot smiley
REST IN PEACE

I think it was PETE who came first hot smiley
He was actually jumping, so okay

Before that was Rosie The Riveter hot smiley
She wore one back in the 40s
Suppose jumpsuits can be alright and even sexy for some women. That Rosie sure had some manly arms from all that riveting. Very riveting.

Of course Bowie wore some jumpsuits hot smiley

And Freddie hot smiley
Trying hard (or hardly trying...) to keep it in his jumpsuit. REST IN PEACE

The Ox hot smiley
Entwistle didn't move much at all while playing... much less jumping. REST IN PEACE
One person max per band actually jumping is generally best (See Pete Townshend, above).

Peter Gabriel hot smiley
For you youngsters: Gabriel was in Genesis in the 70s, way before Phil Collins did his own thing in the 80s

Neil Diamond hot smiley
Do ya think I'm sexy?

Rod Stewart hot smiley
Hey that's my line!

Kiss hot smiley hot smiley hot smiley hot smiley
Four guys in jumpsuits is way more than enough

Steven Tyler hot smiley
Used to look like Mick

David Lee Roth hot smiley
Mr. Jump himself

Neil Armstong hot smiley
"That's one small step for man... One giant leap for mankind." REST IN PEACE

Evel Knievel hot smiley
He really jumped. REST IN PEACE ]

I think the one Pete is wearing was often referred to as a "boiler suite". Some of those jumpsuites look cool in a 70's way. I like Micks, and Bowie, well his takes it to a whole other level. I read that he said he was influenced by Japanese Kabuki art.

I still wear them on a daily basis. I love my silky/velvet pink one. It got feathers too.

Yikes! I feel like I need a shower after looking at those pictures. I pray the jump suit does not make a return.

Tele, I want you to know that you make me straight-out laugh - often - and I just generally really enjoy your posts!

Also ---- my sister in law was wearing a jumpsuit at Easter - kind of like one of these with the belt. Despite what David Bowie presaged, 21st Century jumpsuits are loose, not skintight.

The women's jumpsuits are slightly better than these eye popping smiley

except for elvis "who made his jumpsuits really stand out", i never paid much attention to them , guess i focused more on the music instead of what the artist is wearing

Point taken...

But after she takes off the jumpsuit, and after we watch her taking it off, then she maybe can do something about those cuffs.

Being not that sure about the difference of a jumpsuit and an overall
( and didn´t Pete wear it at Woodstock ) these copycats did it as well...

Thanks Swiss. Great photos! I used to know a guy in the 80s who wore a maintenance crew jump suit as his regular wardrobe. Every day. I was uncomfortable just being in the same room as him.
