Larry likes to say that he doesn't prepare questions or do research because he wants his own questions to
be spontaneous and to learn the answers as the viewing public learns them. (aka lazy interviewer)

I'd be surprised if anything interesting was revealed.

Pretty bad interviewer there yes, but he is not as bad as Leno or Letterman.

Charlie Rose would have been great (I bet he ACTUALLY listens to the Stones) but his viewing/sound schedule is just too all over the place. That would rock, 1 hour, no commercials, intelligent conversation.......

Charlie Rose DID interview Mick 10 years ago...right about the time Mick finished up making 'The Man from EF' and it was excellent !...there were very few promo spots & nothing mentioned in the press...I saw it & prepared to record it when it was repeated..but I've never seen or heard of a repeat...anyone who knows that this will be on again, please post !....as far as the Larry King thing next week...well, we'll see...peter

Well, I think they haven't personally promoted any album ever so much as they do this one. It looks like that Jagger really wants personally make sure that EXILE sells alright to have the 'right' to open more vaults! I can see how itchy feet he has to get into STICKY and SOME GIRLS sessions ><

(Another insight: they usually promote an album by a tour - all the promotion hassle around EXILE tells that there aren't any tour plans in near future.)

The best interveiw ive ever seen of any Stone was when Keith was on 60 MINUTES I know it was quite a few years ago I cant even remember what year it was.

Dear, was B2B or ABB or maybe anyalbum promoted like that rerelease? Many of the later albums could have been sold better with such a massive promotion.

I'd love Mick on the Daily Show, Jon Stewart at least is good and funny

It is too bad it's Larry's show but we can hope that he'll do a bit of homework and come up with some decent questions. Mick is no stranger to the interview process and I'm sure he has stories ready to tell about the days at Nellcote when they were recording EXILE etc, and I'm sure he'll clean up his recollections!! I'm looking forward to it!!

yes..i saw that too. i think it originally aired on New Years Eve...or some holiday. I had been out late and missed the very beginning.
always wanted to track it down & record it. no luck.

i used to like charlie rose....these days he takes himself WAY too seriously.

Larry King USED to be a good interviewer, but he should have retired about 20 years ago. I'll watch anyway, just to see what the Mick has to say.

There seems to be alot of fuss on whose the best interviewer.To be quite honest I dont really care less who interviews Mick.Even if the interviewer has never heard of The Stones theyve only got to do a bit of homework on them and ask the right questions..so whats so hard in that
