Is it going to be on the super deluxe edition from Japan as well I assume? Can't really read the Japanese there. Guess the price of this boxset just got even worse. Glad I hadn't pre-ordered it yet.

the real fan buys the super-deluxe box twice! Only 138 euros for this one, not including postage. But now you have new track.

Has anyone confirmed which version of ADtL is on the 7" of PMS? It was thought that it would be the album version, but I've heard rumblings to the contrary.

To my ears, the radio version of PMS is a better balanced and more detailed mix compared to the 7" version, which sound a little murkier, less detailed. If this isn't a placebo effectconfused smiley, than I hope the radio-version will be the cd version

The b-side ADTL is the album version, but a lot louder!

In Japan, the record companies always have to "add" something extra or the
Japanese buying public will order the "American" version. Good for the Japanese
fans...

Everybody keeps saying this, but I honestly can't tell a difference. Maybe I need to listen to them both with headphones or something. I'm referring to the radio and 45 version of Plundered My Soul, not ADTL.

FYI,
This is a valuable track obtained only by CD released by some dealers in a part of digital sales site and the United States.
It reminisces about the production process of the album.
It is listed as bonus track for Super Deluxe Edition and Deluxe Edition.

FYIG,
EXILE Litho Set Box contains three serial numbered lithographs and Super Deluxe Edition.

USD 2300 is far cheaper compared to hybrid car.grinning smiley

just makin sure here - this is the SHM two-disk version with the extra All Down the Line, right? [www.hmv.co.jp]
i've submitted a correction noting that they've left the last three tracks off disk 1,
but if someone who's fluent in Japanese could confirm that this should be the full two-disk version
plus the bonus All Down the Line - 18 tracks on disk 1, 11 on disk 2 - i'd be grateful

... Toru A my dear, i have tried and failed to understand what track you're talking about here -
do you mean that the "alternate All Down the Line" is actually a discussion of the production processes?! eye popping smiley

Sorry for my vague wording.
The "alternate All Down the Line" evokes the atmosphere or makes us imagine their recording process.

One question.
The impression I get is that the japanese super de luxe version ( the one that contains the dvd ) does not have the bonus track ( i.e the alternate ADTL )
Is that true?

Its absolutely the album version.

Apart from the different mixes in the instrumentation, you can tell the difference between the album version and the 1972 US 7' single version from the first word that Jagger sings. On the album version he sings 'yeah' on his own - on the single, there are backing vocals.

The 'Exile' album version and the new b-side both clock in at 3:50.

The 1972 single clocks in at 4:00. There is a longer fade out.

As a FANATIC Stones fan I want of course to buy the Japan version of Exile deluxe! And the only reason is because of the alternate take of "all down the line"! But there's NO english in their website, and I don't understand Japanese! How is it possible to buy that record from them without knowing their language? It is not even possible to mail them! Help!!!

Exile deluxe with Japan bonus track=bloody mess!
Posted by: Kuntaman ()
Date: April 30, 2010 01:15

I've been looking on SEVERAL Japan sites for the Exile deluxe edition with the bonus track all down the line. I must say it's a bloody mess! Only the title and artist is in enlish, but the songs is written in Japanese. At one site I found the bonus track, but it wasn't possible to find home and order it. Japanese and Japanese, what about an ENTIRE page in english? To me it sounds almost impossible to get the Japan deluxe edition with the bounus track. Isn't the best way to buy the UK version and then the Japan digi pack version with the bonus track? Or is there a version containing both so you don't need the digi pack?
