Saint Jude and Ronnie Be Good
Posted by: Beast ()

Saint Jude are definitely the dog's whatsits to start with - don't miss them - and when Ronnie Wood unexpectedly jumps on stage to play with them, like last night at the 100 Club, it doesn't get much better than that. Sorry for the poor quality phone pix. Hopefully someone with better ones will do the honours in due course.

Thanks for the text message about it. Glad you had a great time.

The good lady said their performance of "I'm Losing You" was 'blistering'. Great to hear/

Is that a Telecaster Ronnie's playing? Did he borrow the guitar, perhaps?
Anyway - good to see he's living up to his new motto: I Feel Like Playing.

Saint Jude rocks! A great band with real stage presence and a cool blues/rock vibe to them. I will indeed post some other photos later on this evening, although none of either of us hanging out with Ronnie after the show.... I hope he found a cab eventually, as after joking with him there are never any when you need one, my last image of him was walking down Oxford Street in search of one as I sped away on the number 73 bus!

Good to see Ronnie out and playing. He needs more of this which is why I think a Faces tour would be good fun for all of us, even if Stewart is "too busy".

What happened to the album of Saint Jude (with Ronnie Wood guesting on guitar on at least one track) that Chris Kimsey was about to produce?

They excitedly announced last night that it will, finally, be released at the end of this month.

I have a promo CD with a track with Woodie and a press release. Got it nearly a year ago.

can you upload it?

Firstly I use a library computer so I have limited time and access.

Secondly I never condone piracy and if it was available for free I'd be doing just that. I'm sure the members of St Jude would agree.

I don't like those guys at the coast of Somalia either (btw, interestingly enough, since there are pirates there, fish stocks are recovering...and most pirates are fishers who were made jobless by the big fishing industries).

Anyway, making music available is not by any legal definition piracy (or even theft, you didn't steal it from anyone and you are not selling it to anyone). And if I liked the track, I would perhaps even buy the CD...it's a promo CD after all, isn't it?

That said, I obviously respect your opinion winking smiley

Once again a great gig from Saint Jude at the 100 Club.

This is already the third time Ronnie played with Saint Jude!
So it seems he will be there more often?!

Here's a back stage shot from the band with Ronnie

PS. GR has got a point, let's wait for the album to come out and buy it!

They never did Garden Of Eden live with Ronnie. But it would be great for the next one. Or maybe one of Ronnie's songs like "They don't make outlaws.." or "I can feel the fire"!

Nothing to be wary of Adrian......they are a great band. We didn't expect to see Ronnie last week.

Agree. With or without Ronnie still a great rock 'n roll band and worth every penny to see live!
