If this is the last tour (it probably is) people will pay to see the Rolling Stones, especially if they announce that it is their last tour. I know I'll pay.

As for the whole Ronnie being arrested and such, I'm gonna wait to see how the thing turns out before I judge. It's no point in sending Ronnie to the slaughter without knowing the full story.

And as for Ronnie getting sacked, I hardly doubt that will happen. The guys are to close, have been working together for a very long time and if they care about Ronnie they'll know that firing him will only send Ronnie further down the patch of selfdestruction

wow, we are approaching the lowest levels again...

a best case scenario is Ronnie was absolutely drunk, which doesn't justify his behavior at all but would go a long way to explain it. I think it would be worse if he was violent while sober. Next would be that he didn't strike Kat at all, and that she comes out and says they had it out, but that he didn't strike her. The name calling I guess is fair game, that is how couples often fight, and while not constructive, he won't be charged with that. As for the dragging part, he was drunk(assuming) and wanted her home but this act could cost him as an act of violence, the law won't forgive him for being drunk, and this whole event is what finally helps him clean up, and give Kat some money,.... and send her off.

This could be just a dream, but this is a new low for him, a swan dive.... and a very publicized one, so is it at all possible?? I have seen it happen with people who I had given up on.

If i was going to get all morally righteous about the Stones, I probably would've taken a stand over their connection to the drug culture, which has led to an epidemic and the greatest social ill of the last fifty-years. I don't know how someone completely distanced from Ronnie or the young woman, can be all outraged over this incident, but excuse all the other 'iffy' aspects of the band. Seems inconsistent to me.

Rockman had it right. He just needs to be single.

If Ron tours, or not,everyone should wear a 'wife-beater' t-shirt with 'Ronnie' written on it!

Time to drop the boozing. He obviously can't handle it anymore (if he ever really could). But I am sure he finds way to justify to himself that he can handle a drink now and then...everyone else around him is just being harsh on him, he just dragged her a bit, etc. At his age, if he hasn't gotten it yet, he isn't going to get it.

It is interesting how a majority of the people on this thread have tried him, and have found him guilty...

Obviously a heinous crime, but also we all only know what we know from the media. Ronnie is struggling with substance abuse and a hard year of emotional issues. And as we enter into the season of cheer, it is also important to remember forgiveness, compassion and understanding. I hope Ronnie weathers this current storm and gets the help he needs.

I have fear. I think Ronnie is crazy, he doesn´t have control and I think he can made a big crap.
