Can I just put in my two cents to all those who eyes the opportunity of a Mick Taylor reunion: F*** OFF!!!!
Of course it's total shite from Woody if he beat up The Ek, but let's not start a whole frickin' campaign on all his bad sides. He's a Rolling motherhonkin' Stone. He's SUPPOSED to have bad sides, even though beating up your woman ain't a good thing. It's just not cool to bash his guitar playing from this incident. I mean come on: Brian shined up his girls rather neatly too, and I hear nobody judging his skills as a musician based on that. This whole thing is bad. Of course it is. You don't smack your girl up, and that's the end of it. You just don't do it no matter what. That's a big mistake and I'm very much against that sort of behaviour. Just don't get carried away and start the bloody Taylor-craving and call Woody an embarrasment. He's a great guitar player and you know it. That's why he's in The Stones, (and some people here need to realize that he and Brian fit better than Mick Taylor ever did).

What I find odd is how so many can moralise about Ron's reputed behaviour while I assume most of the same people love the Midnight Rambler, a song which it's hard not to associate with sexual violence - in fact which owes its existence to it.

daily mail article
doesn't sound good:
"Former health centre manager Phillip Legge and his wife Celine told how they were woken by the pair arguing outside their house on the High Street in Claygate, Surrey, on Wednesday night. 'We had just gone to bed at about
10.45pm when we heard this man shouting and
screaming at the top of his voice,' Mr Legge said.
'He was shouting, "You are a f***ing b****" and then "You are a f***ing w****" and it was really loud.
'I could hear a woman screaming for him to leave her alone and initially thought it was two people just having a row.
'But the screaming went on and on and I went downstairs and then out into the street.
'It was then I saw this man dragging a woman down the road.
'She had been on the floor by a shop-front to begin with and he was towering over her screaming abuse into her face. He had really viciously turned on her.'
Mr Legge, 30, said he did not recognise the Rolling Stone, who he said was dragging the woman by her coat collar along the ground before trying to take her handbag from her.
Mr Legge said he saw a struggle between the two while Wood appeared to be holding a cigarette.
'I heard her say: "Ouch...Stop it.'' He then pinned her up against a nearby wall and again he appeared to put his hands around her throat.'
Mr Legge shouted at the man, who turned and walked away, leaving the woman on the floor. 'I then went to her and got her into the house,' he said.
'She was in a terrible state. She was wearing shorts and a striped top and red coat but her hair was all over the place, her tights were ripped and torn and there were grazes all over her legs.' Mr Legge and his 20-year-old pregnant wife claim that as they waited for police to arrive Miss Ivanova spoke repeatedly to Wood on the phone, telling him: 'You're not even sorry - you can't even say sorry.'
They allege that Miss Ivanova smelled heavily of drink and told them that the couple had been to a restaurant in the village where they had rowed, with Miss Ivanova suggesting they should split up.
A waiter at the Bengal Lancer restaurant said Wood drank vodka there by himself before his girlfriend joined him..."

First of all, why does Mick Taylor always come up when people talk about Ronnie? Seriously, I'm fed up with all this talk about Mick Taylor.
As to the case in discussion, why does (almost) everyone jump to the conclusion that Ronnie even touched Kat and is gonna ruin the possible 2010 tour? I doubt that none of us was there when it happened. And why does anyone assume that Ronnie was drunk at the time? Nowhere I've read does it say that Ronnie was under the influence of alcohol?
Until all the facts are out and everyone knows what really happened, I don't think none of us should assume that this or that happened. I would let people outside the Rolling Stones sphere judge without knowing. We, the Rolling Stones fans, have at least some idea of how Ronnie is as a person.

And Kat needs to get away from this and go find a younger guy who can treasure her for other reasons than Ronnie does.

Yeah - she should dump his ass. He shouldn't be with anyone right now - he should be in a clinic getting his shit together.
He probably knows this - and realizes how bad he's effing up - which might be making him drink even more. Alcoholics often take out their self loathing out on other people.

Ronnie is living the life of a true rocker. No doubt about that.
Assaulting women isn't something to aspire to if you want to be seen as a 'true rocker'. Its definitely something to aspire to if you just want to be a drunken @#$%&, however.

I ussually never post because I pretty much dont care about peoples personal lives, even when they are celebrities or high profile people.
But I am really sick and tired of all this bashing against Ronnie and that people want Mick Taylor back.
Deal with it, this is what you are getting.
I just cant believe all you guys are trying to advise Ronnie like you were some old pal of him.
This guy, Fan since 1964, what needs to be done?
Bringing Mick Taylor to tour will make you happy? Well, I am sure that wont happen.
Ronnie checking into rehab? That might happen.
Ronnie being kicked off the band? Not going to happen.
I might understand that you feel ... concerned ... about what is going on.
But stop being such an idiot trying to pretend you are so worried about Ronnie.
I am not buying it.
