Notice some shots have Keith using Fender amps and others Ampeg. Anyone know the reasons Keith was using Fender amps?

Honestman those are stunning photos. Thanks so much for posting...awesome.

The Newcastle set list supposedly they did CYHMK:

In Newcastle the set was:
"Jumpin' Jack Flash"
"Live With Me"
"Dead Flowers"
"Stray Cat Blues"
"Love In Vain"
"Prodigal Son"
"Midnight Rambler"
"Bitch"
"Can't You Hear Me Knockin'"
"Wild Horses"
"Honky Tonk Women"
"Satisfaction"
"Little Queenie"
"Brown Sugar"
"Street Fighting Man"
Encore:
"Sympathy For The Devil"
"Let It Rock"

Sadly the 1970 tour is my hole in my collection with very few boots from it.

One helluva setlist!

"No Anchovies, Please"

My favorite tour is '69, but if someone wants to argue that this period was the best I have trouble mustering an argument. Look at that setlist and those venues! If there is anything in the archives from this period.....

I have a framed poster of the the European tour.....it was definitely an important transitional period for the Stones. Coming on the heels of the 60s, the Stones were about to go big in a way they never had. They were about to become iconic.

Okay P, I have to say these are some of the most fantastic shots I have ever seen. To me the 71 UK tour is so elusive because there haven't been many photos, and a we all know 70/71 tour is the least documented one from the boot era.
I LOVE these shots - it's already the Taylor, and Keys/Price era, but they are still on a very small stage. The best of both worlds.
Philip is hoping for a Brian era boot instead of 70/71. I personally am hoping for 70/ 71 more than anything. AND a Brian era on top. A Brian show from 67...it would be heaven.
Where are these pics from Pascal? French mags?
