Nice to see that Keith again uses his 1959-60 blonde tele for the standard songs. (Well at least one of 'em!).
Stones are a solidbody-kind-of-band and the 355's only fit in IORR. Just because Noel Gallagher made it fashionable in the 90's to use Gibson semi's, it doesn't mean everyone should use it.
Songs like Ain't too proud to beg, Everybody needs somebody and Worried about You sounded great during 40Lix, but I think Keith should've made a Cropper and used The blonde rosewood fingerboard one. (Or why not the black '73 Telecaster Custom, for those romantic memories....)

Actually a 1963-one. The 1963 and 1964 tele's are known to have a darker, more growling tone compared to 50's Tele's, as the pickups were wound to a higher resistance.
Regarding solidbody vs. semihollow guitars, I think it's more a question of the amp. Keith did play a hollowbody (or semi?) in the 69 Hyde Park gig, and to my ears it's a very fat and cranked sound... Listen to JJF on this one, for example.
About OpenG question, if I recall correctly, on L&G Keiths play a LP Custom on Bitch and Gimme Shelter, and a LP Standard on Dead Flowers, Midnight Rambler and Bye Bye Johnnie. But I think Keith changed from gig to gig, didn't he? I mean he didn't always play the same song with the same guitar.

Nope, it's the other way around: a standard for Rocks Off, Bitch, Gimme Shelter, Dead Flowers, Love in Vain, and a Custom for Midnight Rambler and sometimes Bye Bye Johnnie, a Tele for the rest of the songs. He did use a LP Standard for Happy and YCAGWYW on the very early '72 shows, but later switched to a Tele. Add a Strat for Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women and sometimes YCAGWYW and SFM, an Ampeg Dan Armstrong for JJF and SFM for the very early shows and a 1955 Les Paul Gold Top for some unidentified songs for at least the San Francisco shows, where Bill played a Mustang bass instead of the Dan Armstrong See-Through. Taylor used ONE 1958 Les Paul with removed Bigsby on the entire tour. This sums up about all the guitars of the 1972 tour.

I think you're wrong, Mathijs. On L&G you can see:
Standard: Dead Flowers, Midnight Rambler and Bye Bye Johnnie. I forgot LIV, he plays a standard on this one, too. P-90 equipped Custom: Bitch, Gimme Shelter.

No, I am 100% certain, check L&G, and check for example Harold Colson's great site. Keith only used the Custom for Midnight Rambler, and very rarely (judging on pics) on Bye Bye Johnnie.
I think I'll have to look at L&G again becasue I thought Keith used the Standard for Midnight Rambler and Bye,Bye Johnnie. Mathijs, I didn't know that Keith used the Standard for Happy and YCAGWYW for the early shows of the tour and a '55 Goldtop for the Winterland shows. Interesting!

I checked: on L&G ALL LP's played by Keith are his one and only Standard (incl. MR and BBJ), no Custom to be seen! But, if you check footage of the later shows, you'll see he changed to a Custom for MR and most probably BB Johnnie (check Colson's site, and you'll see many pics of the Custom with a capo on the 8th fret).
