The 1975 BUGLE with Jagger on the cover (live at Milwaukee COunty Stadium) was a local Milwaukee music magazine...not sure if that fits your criteria.

IORR............but I like it!

Honestman - over at Gemm.com ' if you go to the Rolling Stones pages, and then specify Ciao 2001, there are all the 70's mags with Stones on cover for sale. Fore some reason I am not able to link the page here; but it is easy to find.
Not sure if you are wanting to collect the actual magazines. because these are not cheap, since they are so rare.

I found a bunch from Holland here.

Great to see the cover of the Bugle (nee Bugle American). I've got one of those buried away too. It covers the Stones first ever appearance in Milwaukee. (Not a bad show, not a great one either.) Hey sweet neo con, can you post the Jagger crotch-grabbing centerfold picture? It's not the cover but I'm sure people would get a good laugh from it. (I'm not computer-literate enough to post pictures.)

This is a great topic. I have a very large box full of Stones-on-the-cover mags dating back to the 60's (and a similar-sized box of Springsteen covers and a much smaller one of Zappa covers). But you know, I never look at them. I read them when they're first released and then just put 'em in the box. They're just sitting there and my wife complains that they just take up space in the closet. Gotta admit, I often wonder myself why I save them. They're really not worth much, dollarwise. Does anybody else ever go back and actually look at their collection? And why do you save them? What motivates us to do this?

I started collecting magazines first because whan i was younger, i was not rich!
I'm older now and i'm still not richthumbs up smiley but seriously the mainly reason why i save them in my vaults is that there are some great reviews in some of them you couldn't find on some books.
I called the magazine " The poor's book" but id doesn't means that it's no use
to collect them, i used to collect all the ones with great front covers or great reviews inside!

The one with Mick from July 1972 is a UK issue not an Aussie?

Of course you will get a special credit on my Blog if you do thatsmoking smiley

@Nicos

Yes fully agree, but no name no credits once again, i think it's from Stone Henge

Those early Rolling Stone Mags are too big for da scanner machine ...
Were like a bit bigger than A3 size ..... Gimmie a lil time okay...

I know that those A3 size mag drive me nuts
It take time to scan , often you should scan in two parts and after that
the picture must fit wit the two parts ; a really hard job (I've spent hours
to do that for some pictures i wanted to show, but it's worth)

Very cool

Waitin' for it and take your timewinking smiley
