Hi Honestman,

First of all, I'd like to thank you for scanning so much great stuff. I have your blog bookmarked and I check it out almost daily to see if you've posted new stuff. I love it.

While checking out your blog, I saw this:

I've been looking for this mag for ages but I haven't had any luck so far. Could you please scan the cover and the Stones article featured inside? Thank you very much in advance. Keep up the good work.

I would like to collect magazines that have had Jonathan Richman on the front cover. I wonder how many that would be?

I was driving home early Sunday morning through Bakersfield...

it's worth only for the cover and the poster inside
because it's an issue which resume the # 4 other # you could easily find.
(#26-23-39 & 49)

i will post here, as soon as I could the front cover and the posterwinking smiley

I have a late 80's magazine called SMART which had Keith on the cover. It was an Esquire-type of rag that flopped. But I got Keith!

This is from a Swedish magazine 1986, inside is an interview with Keith where he speaks about the far from pleasant experiences he has from the Dirty Work sessions.

What about other major countries Honestman? I remember in Germany they used to put out some good mags; ages ago they had Pop, Popfoto, Musik Express - they all had Stones covers.
In Italy there was Ciao 2001.
The French (the best IMO) you obviously know about.
And in USA besides Creem, there was Hit Parader, Trouser press, Circus, Goldmine (still around; more a newspaper),SPIN, Musician, Guitar Player,Guitar World.
In UK - Q and NME;
and I don't even know what cool mags the Dutch have put out.

Oh yes for sure, i don't want to list only the magazines from France , UK and USA
First because ROCKMAN won't be happythumbs up smiley
and second because as I wrote , there are so many magazines.
Don't forget also the RS Monthly Books ( i own 12 # only on 30)
but you're perfectly right the German ones are awesome.
If someone own DUTCH or GERMAN magazines, you're of course Wellcome !
Other Country are also much appreciated because one couldn't know all the magazines that were edited, that's the purpose of my thread!
