Just saw a 10/10 promo clip from 1969 of Gimme Shelter on Fox TV.
Now can someone tell me where it is from?

Mick is wearing a white top and his black pants with the buttons down each side. Mick T is playing a white stratocaster, Keith is playing his Ampeg guitar. I think it's Ed Sullivan show....? I probably have this buried away on DVD somewhere but it was the first I had seen of this....very impressed.

If its the promo clip, then its the version filmed at the BBC on 12.12.69 for the New Years Eve special "Pop Go the 60's". A FANTASTIC live vocal from Mick on that one. I think he's wearing that same outfit that he wears at MSG in "Gimme Shelter"

It was a live vocal with the studio music....

Mick wears a white top, his hair not as long as it seems during the MSG/Altamont footage from the Gimme Shelter movie....so perhaps it's the version of 12/12/1969 after a hair cut...?
The pants he wears are the ones he wears at the MSG shows.

Great version, although I slightly prefer the live vocals he does to the "other" promo where he wears his Altamont cape at !! A Classic.
