Those shots on shidoobee are great and Keith looks healthy to me(I mean he IS in his mid sixties!) One thing that really stands out is his hands-his arthritis looks like the swelling in his knuckles is down alot! Hopefully the guitar will not be as painful for him and WE will reap the rewards!

that's it - though i feel a bit guilty "stealing" blue lena's "thing" - giving keith a scarf...he did seem genuinely appreciative though! he stopped, turned around, and gave me a big smile. i smiled back then some jackass jumped in between and ruined the moment...

Looks like an outtake of the Bigger Bang artwork.

yeah, some of the fans were a wee bit crazed. Even though they weren't performing, i'd rather this than a big stadium show where it seems more impersonal.

yeah, the place was so tiny that even with keith in the front row side of the balcony and me front row center at the stage, there were still only about 20 people between us. nice to have him "right there".

No no no, Little Queenie.
don't feel guilty giving keith a scarf - you wear it well.

...and sure looks great on Keith aswell.

Should have given him a joint and kept the scarf for dusting.

That is precisely it, Queenie, and I paid oh $260 or so more than you. But I'm not thinking along those lines one bit -- it was worth every cent. You only live once. I was in close proximity to a r'n'r legend - and his offspring - who are part of his legacy, right? One fan I was seated by had seen them in London before they were going by the Rolling Stones name!
I recall at the end how everyone on the floor turned in their applause and kept shouting Keith's name. I felt as though it was ancient Rome and we were awaiting the emperor's thumbs up or thumbs down sign!
I can listen to the crisp, clear sounds of their tunes in the privacy of my own home or car whenever I wish. Being in the presence of a rock god is perhaps* the most we can hope for these days...
