First of all it's the middle left not the index finger. Maybe he owns an assortment of skull rings? Also, notice how the ring is positioned on the finger's upper half. Never took Anatomy in college.

Coloring the hair can make a big difference - if he used some black color for his hair, he would look younger.

Imagine Mick J being gray (which he probably is) - we would be scared to death.

Amen. I do not want to live in a world where Mick Jagger has grey hair. It would be like Peter Pan growing up, very sad. But Keith has let his gray show before, on the Bridges to Babylon tour, so I don't find it a big deal.

Ah! Thanks for the info. I can't imagine a dramatized version could hold a candle to the original documentary - seems an odd film to re-make. I do vaguely remember the stage play being around though, now that you mention it.

The Knitting Factory's in BKLN now? Wow - I used to live in Williamsburg, many moons ago.

So, was Maysles appearance and clip part of a Shidoobee Maysles Institute Part 2 showing of unreleased footage from Gimme Shelter which they did in NYC in the fall of 07 as I recall

and I knew they were supposed to have a follow up event which featured more footage from Altamont I think a year ago, but it was postponed.

Anyone know?
