following the Rolling Stones all over the world since the 90's.
Sadly she passed away in her home in Japan on 23 November 2014.

Dec 2: Rolling Stones saxophonist Bobby Keys dies aged 70
|
|
Bobby Keys, the larger-than-life saxophone player who toured with the Rolling Stones
for more than 45 years and played on studio classics like "Brown Sugar" and "Live With Me,"
has passed away. He was 70. "The Rolling Stones are devastated by the loss of their very
dear friend and legendary saxophone player, Bobby Keys," the band said in a statement.
"Bobby made a unique musical contribution to the band since the 1960s. He will be greatly missed."

The Rolling Stones show on Saturday Nov 8 at Hanging Rock, Macedon has been cancelled, because Mick Jagger has got a throat infection. This is from the Rolling Stones press statement:
"The Rolling Stones have been forced to cancel the next date of their Australian tour after singer Mick Jagger developed a throat infection. This means that the scheduled show at Hanging Rock on Saturday, November 8th is unfortunately cancelled.
Mr. Jagger is under strict doctor's orders to rest his vocal chords for the next few days in order to recuperate for the remainder of the tour. The next scheduled show is in Sydney on Wednesday, November 12th."

Aug 29: Support acts for Hanging Rock and Hunter Valley shows announced
|
|
Sydney band The Preatures and Melbourne band British India have been announced as support acts for two of The Rolling Stones' gigs, during their tour of Australia. The Preatures will perform at the Hope Estate, Hunter Valley, NSW, while British India will open the show. The two bands will also performing before the Stones at Hanging Rock, Macedon, Victoria, where the Preatures will open and British India will take the second slot. Jimmy Barnes has already been named as the support act for the band's first gig in Adelaide.

The album Playing For Change 3 "Songs Around The World" will be released June 17th, 2014.
The CD/DVD set includes performances from Keith Richards among others.
"Playing For Change, That's the way music was meant to be," says Keith.
He collaborated with a number of worldwide musicians for a rendition of his
reggae song "Words of Wonder," off 1992's Main Offender, and a cover of Bob Marley's
"Get Up, Stand Up," in order to raise awareness for the charity Playing for Change.

L'Wren Scott, American fashion designer to the stars and long-time girlfriend of
Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, was found dead at her New York apartment on Monday.
Mick Jagger was "completely shocked and devastated" by the death of the 49-year-old Scott,
a spokesman for Mick said.

The Rolling Stones tour jet left from Manson airfield in Kent, UK
on Sunday, to pick up the touring party in Paris bound for the tour start in Abu Dhabi.
The chartered Boeing 767-200 is decorated with the Stones tongue on both sides,
with a mirrored version rarely seen on the righthand side of the plane,
to fit in with the plane body and the wing. Fans are upset with the "wrong" tongue of course!
