Mick trades vocals with Jimmy on each one, and Keith plays lead guitar on the first two and guitar on the third. Big Sugar is warming up in Toronto, Canada. The Corrs will warm up in Washington DC, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. The Flys in Florida (Tampa and Fort Lauderdale). Sheryl Crow is listed as warm-up artist for the summer 1999 shows in UK.

Keith interview in Q magazine: UK Magazine Q is just out with a new (January) issue featuring a great interview with Keith Richards. The interview is a collection of questions asked by fans, so it is pretty good.

Memories from the Hague: On the No Security CD Mick says "Het is goed in Holland te zijn", which means "It's good to be in Holland". And they had a good time after their final show in Holland, in The Hague, when the Stones were invited to dinner at the restaurant La Liguria, Noordeinde, den Haag. by the O'Neill Europe founder Theo Dietz. The dinner lasted from midnight into early morning of the 6th... Now you may visit the restaurant and see the pictures from the dinner!

Grammy Award nomination: Mick and Keith is getting a grammy nomination through their looped sound bits in the Verve song "Bitter Sweet Symphony", together with Richard Ashcroft. Other nominees in the Best Rock Song category are: "Celebrity Skin" (Billy Corgan, Eric Erlandson and Courtney Love); "Closing Time" (Dan Wilson); "Have a Little Faith In Me" (John Hiatt); "Uninvited" (Alanis Morissette). The actual awards will be announced in LA Feb. 24.

Rare new UK release: According to a recent issue of UK collector's magazine Record Collector, there are plans for a new and rare Stones release by the time the Stones return to UK next summer. It is supposed to be a low profile release intended for hard core fans only, and it should be based on left over tracks from the Voodoo Lounge and Bridges To Babylon recording sessions. Bootlegs do circulate with some of this material, like Voodoo Brew and Voodoo Stew.

No Security from Poland too! The No Security live album is sourced from live performances in Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, St. Louis, Nuremberg and the 10 Spot, but right after track no. 7 - Saint of Me - there is a short sequence taken from the Chorzow, Poland show, where Mick is saying (in Polish): "Milo byc znowu w Polsce", which means "It's nice to be in Poland again".

The No Security cover: The No Security CD is now out all over the world, and Stones fans may enjoy the memories of the BtB tour. The front cover photo is taken at the show in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, and the guy is Wolfgang Dusek, optician from Vienna, who actually worked with security... The girl is still not identified. PS. Everybody seems to like the No Security promo sampler cover a lot more - see page 20.

The Bill Wyman tour: Bill Wyman finished his European fall "Anyway The Wind Blows" tour in Oslo, Norway on Oct. 24, his 62nd birthday. Gary Brooker stole the show by doing a great solo performance of "A Whiter Shade Of Pale", special request from the band, to celebrate Bill's birthday. Bill did his own song "Stuff", on lead vocals.

The millenium show. It has been talked about for a long time. The Rolling Stones at Wembley Stadium Dec. 31, 1999. Well, it will be taken down just after the summer shows, so that's not possible. Then Madison Square Garden Dec. 31, 1999 is another strong rumour. The truth is we don't know if and where the Stones will play Dec. 31, 1999. May be they will jet through time zones and play all their way into year 2000. All we can do is wait and hope they might do some fun! PS. Mathematically the new millenium start in 2001, but the big party seems to be Dec. 31st 1999!
